What depends on your business

LLCs

Corporate income tax or single tax return, annual financial statements and returns for any other taxes the company pays.

Sole proprietors (FOPs)

A single tax return or a personal income tax return, depending on the group and whether you have employees.

VAT payers

VAT returns, registration of tax invoices and monitoring of mismatches in the online tax account.

Employers

Payroll reporting — and, if needed, full payroll and HR.

A dormant LLC usually still files part of its reporting: financial statements and any returns that have figures to declare. Need IFRS? See IFRS reporting.

What we check before filing

Most penalties come from simple mismatches that are easy to catch in advance. Before filing, we reconcile:

Income vs bank

Declared income must match bank receipts — the tax office sees both.

VAT vs invoices

The VAT return must match the tax invoice register.

Payroll vs SSC

Salaries, withheld taxes and SSC must tie up with actual payments.

Tax account

What you paid against what was assessed in your online tax account.

Reports are monthly, quarterly or annual depending on the type. Late filing is penalized under Article 120 of Ukraine’s Tax Code, so we prepare reports early, not on the last day. You keep all receipts and copies.

What we needAccounting data and access to the tax accountSource documents — we do the rest

For regular reporting, the safest option is to let us handle your bookkeeping as well, so every report is built on data we have already checked.

If a report was filed with an error

Under Article 50 of the Tax Code, you can correct a filed return yourself with an amended return or in the next period’s return. While martial law is in effect, errors for martial-law periods can be self-corrected with no penalty or late-payment interest (Tax Code transitional provisions). Otherwise the penalty is 3% of the shortfall — far lower than after an audit. If errors span several periods, we start with accounting records restoration.

Frequently asked questions

Can we order a single report?

Yes. We prepare one-off reports — annual financial statements, a tax return, a first report after registration or a dormant LLC’s reporting. We check the underlying data before filing, so a one-off report is more than a filled-in form. We quote after reviewing your data.

Does a dormant LLC have to file reports?

Usually, yes: financial statements and any returns that have figures to declare. Missing a report that was due can lead to a penalty even with no transactions. We check your online tax account and tell you exactly what is due. Sometimes it shows liabilities from past periods — those are worth closing too.

Do you prepare statistical reports?

Yes. We identify which statistical forms apply to your business and file them together with your other reporting. Statistical reports are easy to forget because they aren’t tied to taxes, so we put them in your reporting calendar alongside tax returns. If a form doesn’t apply to you, we say so.

What if a report is filed late?

The State Tax Service charges a penalty for late or missed filings (Article 120 of Ukraine’s Tax Code). While martial law is in effect, only taxpayers who could not file on time are released from liability. They must file within six months after martial law ends (Tax Code transitional provisions). For everyone else the usual deadlines apply, so we keep a reporting calendar.

What if a filed report contains an error?

First, check whether the error affects the tax due. If it does, file an amended return or correct it in the next return. While martial law is in effect, errors for martial-law periods can be self-corrected with no penalty or late-payment interest (Tax Code transitional provisions). If there are many errors across several periods, accounting records restoration is the better route.

Our accountant keeps the books. Can you just file the reports?

Yes. Your accountant keeps the books, while we review the data, prepare and file the reports. If we spot mismatches, we flag what to fix in the books before filing. Your reporting gets a second pair of eyes, and your accountant gets more time for day-to-day work.

Do non-profits file different reports?

Yes. Besides annual financial statements, Ukrainian non-profits file a report on the use of their income (Article 46.2 of the Tax Code). The figures must match the purposes in the charter, and a mismatch can cost the organization its non-profit status. We check this before filing.

What do you need from us to prepare the reports?

For a one-off report: your accounting data, bank statements and access to the online tax account. For ongoing support: source documents, and we do the rest. You can send documents as photos in a messenger, scans by email or through a shared folder. If anything is missing, we tell you before we start.
